Colostrum

Colostrum is a fluid present in mammals for a few days after giving birth. In addition to proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals, it contains numerous antibodies which the immune system uses to identify and, ultimately, eliminate invading pathogens such as bacteria and viruses. When taken as a nutrient-rich food, it supports the the immune response, as well as potentially increasing energy and improving physical well-being.
